During El Proceso, the 1976-83 Dictatorship, human rights groups estimate that more than 100,000 people were tortured and more than 30,000 people “disappeared.” On this excursion, we visit and walk through one of the central sites where many people were held, tortured, and murdered.
Argentina is internationally famous for its beef and wine. We attend an asado to learn how different meats are cooked and paired with specific types of grapes. Orvieto is a small fortified city approximately an hour and a half outside of Rome that was founded by the ancient Etruscans.
