About Program Directors
Program Directors are passionate and dedicated supporters of international education whose commitment and expertise make KIIS study abroad programs possible. Each KIIS study abroad program is led by a Program Director from a KIIS Consortium institution.
Program Director Responsibilities
Program Directors are responsible for overseeing both the academic and logistical components of their respective study abroad programs. That includes planning classes and excursions, screening student and faculty applicants, presiding over pre-departure student and faculty orientations, making all transportation and accommodation arrangements in the host country, developing and overseeing program budgets, communicating and collaborating closely with the KIIS office, and managing program crises abroad. Programs Directors also teach one course each during their respective study abroad programs.
