My experience in Zanzibar was so much more than a study abroad trip, it changed who I was and how I viewed everything. It was an opportunity to learn, serve, and grow while working in local hospitals and experiencing a culture so different from my own. It strengthened my passion for healthcare, reminded me why I chose this career oath, and gave me memories, experiences, and relationships I’ll carry with me long after graduation.
