The course will introduce students to Latin America through sites of history, culture, memory, finance, and public life. Visits to museums, neighborhoods, markets, and historical landmarks will help students connect Latin American history and contemporary social change with lived experience and contemporary Latin American cultures. Together, the excursions will deepen intercultural understanding and critical observation.
