Antibiotics are essential to modern medicine, but growing resistance threatens them. Microbes remain a key source for new discoveries. This course examines antibiotic discovery and resistance development, using Argentina’s One Health framework (linking human health, agriculture, food systems, and the environment) to compare local and U.S. resistance monitoring strategies. Open to all backgrounds; no microbiology required.
