Tamsui is a beach town only a 40-minute train ride away from Taipei. It is an ideal place to join the locals to enjoy sunsets and stroll around the Fisherman’s Wharf and Tamsui Old Street. Ocean front shops are all lined up and offer fresh fruits, street foods, souvenirs, clothing, crafts and small game stops full of local kids in the evenings. The wharf has experienced a major renovation in recent years and is now a popular filming location.
