ART 100 Art Appreciation / HON 300 Art & Visual Culture

Dr. Zbynek “ZB” Smetana

The course provides students with bases of perceptual processes and visual literacy against the backdrop of the visual arts. By understanding how various historical periods have expressed their world-views visually, students better understand the diversity of political, economic, religious, social, and aesthetic traditions which are the foundations of art.

CD 496 International Speech Pathology

Prof. Megan Smetana

This course provides us an opportunity to learn about cultural and social differences in the Czech Republic for speech-language pathology services. We also learn about the scope of practice and educational requirements for speech language pathologists in the Czech Republic.

All KIIS course credit is awarded by Western Kentucky University. Prior to your KIIS program, please speak with your home campus academic advisor and/or study abroad office to determine course equivalencies. Grades will be transferred to your home institution in late January after the completion of the program. Course offerings are subject to change according to enrollment. For more information, visit Transcripts & Grades.
