In beautiful colonial Gothenburg we’ll visit The House of Emigrants, a wharf-side museum that tells the story of Sweden’s great outmigration. At this very wharf, over a million Swedes braved the mighty Atlantic in search of opportunity in new places like the fast-growing, young immigrant nation of America.  In light of this scale of outmigration, we’ll consider one of the great archaeological hoaxes of all time: The Kensington Rune Stone, and how it relates to this era.
