2016 MERIDA FALL SEMESTER PROGRAM April 1: Early Deadline, April 15: Regular Deadline
Celebrating 40 Years of International Education!
Founded in 1975, the Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS) is a faculty-led study abroad consortium of colleges and universities in Kentucky and surrounding states. In that time, over 12,000 students and hundreds of consortium faculty have participated on KIIS programs. Each year, KIIS offers over $75,000 in student scholarships.
KIIS is dedicated to providing exceptional- and affordable- international education programs for students from diverse backgrounds. We believe study abroad should be an integral part of any degree program, regardless of academic discipline, and should prepare students to be globally competent upon graduation. KIIS study abroad programs help students synthesize and analyze information in a foreign cultural setting, enhance written and verbal communication skills, understand contemporary global challenges, and develop a heightened sense of confidence and leadership.
With a wide selection of courses from which to choose, you'll have the chance to earn college credit hours while having the experience of a lifetime. View KIIS courses here.
