In addition to financial aid, below are several ways to help students reduce the cost of their KIIS study abroad program:

1. Apply Early & Save $100
For Summer programs, apply by January 20 and save $100. To be eligible for the $100 savings, submit your online application and pay your $150 application fee by January 20. Your supporting materials (faculty recommendation, transcript, passport photo page or passport application + 1 photo are due February 15)

Please note: The $100 savings will be deducted from the student's final April 15 program payment (Summer programs).
(meaning all students are required to pay the $150 application fee and, if accepted, the March 15 $1500 program payment)

Fall Semester programs: April 15 (apply early & save $100 deadline)
Spring Semester programs: October 1 (apply early & save $100 deadline)

2. KIIS Scholarships
Summer programs: One $500 scholarship is available for each KIIS program

Summer Ecuador applicants: Kentucky-Ecuador Partners (KEP) generously provides an additional $500 scholarship.
(KIIS Ecuador applicants may apply for both the KIIS and KEP $500 scholarships)

Fall Semester programs: One $750 scholarship for each KIIS program.
Spring Semester programs: One $750 scholarship for each KIIS program.
