In Barcelona we stay at the Torre Girona residence hall, next to the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. The residence hall is in the Les Corts district, once part of the extensive lands of the royal palace of the Spanish monarchs. The area is filled with open spaces, parks, and a few museums. Students stay in double rooms.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each room has its own kitchenette (small fridge, stove, and cooking utensils) and bathroom. The rooms are also air-conditioned and have internet access. Sheets and towels are provided.

Torre Girona residence connects easily to all areas of the city through the bus and metro system. The closest metro stop is "Palau Reial" on the green line, which has direct connections to the train station and the city center, and a single transfer to the airport and beach.

Barcelona is well connected via bus and rail to the rest of Spain and Europe.
