The Economics
Education program is designed for K-12 social studies teachers and
educators interested in learning basic economics (K-5) or international
economics (6-12) in Salzburg, Austria, a renowned international music and
cultural center.
The city's
architecture spans most of Western history. Founded around 700 A.D.,
Salzburg shows evidence of Roman culture and a dynamic medieval phase (the
Festung, built in 1066, is the largest fortress in Central Europe); and
the Baroque era brought forth some of the finest examples of its
characteristic architecture.
